"This was my first home buying experience so I'm not sure if it's normal or if my scenario was unique for some reason but everyone else I talked to said they knew their closing amount days or a week before the closing date of their home. I took the day off for the closing procedures and was hoping to have that number at least at the closing or sometime later that day. I heard nothing for the rest of the day. The next day I sent Ryan a text in the morning asking if I somehow missed the final closing amount somewhere but did not get a response. Mid day around 2pm the day after closing I got an email from the transaction manager of the realty company asking if I was able to wire the funds for closing. I said I was not because I was never told the amount. She sorted it out quickly and finally got me the amount I needed to send. I then had to leave work early and go to the bank to make the wire transfer. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things as everything else went smooth, but I took the day off the handle everything and still had to leave work the next day to finish it up. Again, first time home buying experience so not sure if this is common or what happened but just slightly frustrating as no one could give me that amount for whatever reason."

"Life happened so it's hard to provide direction but in an ideal world there would have been a bit more communication near the end of our time together, especially with the closing disclosure showing the price of the home and all that, and the ending down payment. Otherwise the experience was great."
