Michael Nasserfar

Michael Nasserfar joins Bobby Shull as an Austin Area Market Leader with over 17 years of experience as a residential mortgage loan officer. Michael is very passionate about the mortgage industry and continues to grow and learn more every day to help better serve his clients.
He has received multiple mortgage lending awards including the STAR Award (State of Texas Mortgage Professional of the Year) in 2013, 2014 & 2016. He has also received numerous Austin MAX & STAR award nominations over the last 17 years and several other local and national awards and recognitions. Recently he was awarded the prestigious “Circle of Excellence” award, which recognizes the top 10% in production and customer service at his prior national based mortgage company. These awards are only accents to his most highly acclaimed accomplishment of serving over 3,000 families attain home ownership over his career.
Michael graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. Michael, his wife Jeanie, son Kamren and daughter Layla have been in Austin since 1997 and our proud to call Austin their home. Outside of work, Michael is heavily involved in Mobile Loaves & Fishes which is an outreach program that takes a modified truck out to serve the under resourced communities in the Austin area with food, clothing, and fellowship. Michael is also a basketball fanatic and has organized a men’s outreach basketball group with over 300 members to play pick up style basketball as well as creating a safe environment for fellowship & support. Michael is active in his local youth association as a Football Board member, coaches his son’s basketball and football teams, and coaches clinics for his daughters basketball.
When asked “Why did you join Movement?” Michael responded with, “On September 11, 2011 I wrote a personal-professional mission statement and kept it for years while at other companies hoping to make them into what I knew I wanted. The items included growing with a company that matched my beliefs, company with a strong growth mindset, and a company wanting to be a leader in our industry.
