"Overall it was a good experience and the team was very responsive and gave solid advice and explanations. I did find some issues with attention to detail. There were errors on some of the closing cost estimations and errors in the loan application when it came to our military experience. There were questions asked multiple times that were already addressed in the application. I do not like submitting sensitive documents via email because that is not secure (your server may be secure but mine is not). The portal was re-opened for me after I asked about the security risk twice, but all documents were requested via email when we were cross-qualified and I do not think that is the best form of practice. I think Jennifer is great at what she does but her team is where the attention to detail issues arose. We were not communicated with when the escrow was initially extended from 2 weeks to 30 days either. I think we would go with Movement Mortgage in the future because the professional nature and expertise of the team did exceed the other lenders we qualified with. This was our first mortgage and minor errors are to be expected. But locking the rate and achieving our goal is the most important part."
