"Its very rare to find someone as passionate and professional as Braxton Lane. From start he had conducted himself positively through out this entire process. His client first approach, honesty, knowledge and expertise were instrumental in the over all success of this experience. If I trace the history of my experience with Movement, it was terrible upfront to start. This journey began in late April when I first elected to purchase a home in the Orlando area, I was introduced to a Movement rep via a real estate agent whom said she had mortgage lenders that could help. When my credit was pulled by Movement, it was indicated that I was pre-qualified we were very happy, but within that same week-the Movement rep informed me he was leaving your company. So I asked why he pulled my credit know he would be leaving, in any case to make matters worst he tried to offer me other mortgage companies saying he was setting up his own shop... At that point I had decided to do more research-in retrospect I should have done this upfront. In any case I was satisfied with Movement but the fact that this rep did not even give me any other movement reps to speak to or refer to was even more disappointing. A week or so later, concerned about personal data privacy, I decided to reach out to Movement by myself to see where my file was, a few days later after leaving a message in one of the toll free numbers, I was connected to Suzana Measham, and I had to explain that I was an interested buyer all over, in any case Suzana started working with me and I was heavily in research mode to find homes in areas where she was licensed in. The relationship was alright but better than the first, unfortunately by the time we finally had a rhythm working and when I finally found some units, I was informed by Suzana that she was about to get rifted, but I appreciated the fact that this time I was not left hanging. Suzana had made every indication that she would bring my file to her manager and I did appreciate her effort. It was at this point that I also found out about the DOJ issues that Movement had recently settled, you can imagine my angst...as a client, I questioned why deal with this (explicit)!?... In any case a day or so later, I did get a email note from Braxton and we did speak, I was encouraged and said, it cant be worst that I have experience so far... and decided to go with the long game. Now I did share my experience with Braxton and he was straightforward and really savvy, upbeat and respectful. He earned my trust at every step, answered all my calls or returned each one promptly, and gave all the assurances that this is a very viable case. He was also very quick in responding formally via email too, knowledgeable of the process and protocols and when he was not sure he had clearly indicated so, with this new synergy we were able to put out a few offers. We went from FL to WV and we finally ended up finding a unit in GA. Braxton reinforced our position in every step of the transaction and in his efforts have completely redeemed and changed my early negative opinion on Movement as a company. Some of the challenges we faced were from the way the underwriting compliance was managed and it was not Braxton's fault in any way shape of firm. The issues were minor from my perspective but Braxton and I were facing a loan expiry date, and an underwriter that didn't seem to consider this, and appeared to be heavily looking at details that seemed trivial at best. Note the pre-qual was initiated in April 24 and was set to expire in August 21. In this sense we didn't have the luxury of time. From my observation the underwriting compliance could be done in a more efficient way and a check list versus last minute requests threw some hurdles in the process of which Braxton and I had to manage on a last minute basis literally less than 36 hours before everything was due with a closing date of 8/18/2023 As far as I could tell, Braxton fought for my business case in every step and every compliance hurdle was addressed on how best to proceed and for that we are truly grateful for his efforts, collaboration and tenacity. He did not give up, and maintained grace under fire during the last critical days. He is a true QB LO that every team would want on their side. Lastly he was calm, collective, pleasant and always positive!. This success story would likely not be possible if Braxton Lane was not the loan officer assigned on this 3rd engagement. 3rd time was a charm! Thank you for everything Braxton and thank you Movement!. No company is perfect but if your employees are any where close to the type that Braxton Lane is, then there will always be success, client satisfaction and recovery in even the worst cases. One happy buyer! RJB We genuinely appreciate what he has done in a very short period!"
