"The closing was delayed by the seller. We were told seller would be asked to pay for the increase in closing costs caused by the delay as the origination fees increased from the initial 3% to 3.26%. At the last moment, we were told sellers will not pay. Not sure why we were led to believe all along that sellers would pick up the tab when agent did not have anything in writing from seller. To prevent closing from being postponed we took the higher path and shelled out almost a $1000 more in closing costs. Not happy about this. Rest of the experience was good, but this spoiled it for us at the last minute."
